Jep and Jessica Robertson are stepping into a new chapter, and fans finally have a date to mark their calendars. Great American Media announced this week that the "Duck Dynasty" couple's new series, "Jep & Jess: Beyond the Bayou," will premiere Thursday, Aug. 13, on Great American Pure Flix, with a broadcast debut following Saturday, Aug. 15, on Great American Family and GFAM+.
The show follows the Robertsons as they leave Louisiana behind to build a new life in Texas, developing Comanche Moon Ranch, a property outside Fort Worth, into a family retreat centered on hospitality and community. Great American Media describes the series as more than a home and lifestyle show, calling it "a weekly destination where purpose, faith, meaningful work, enduring relationships, and authentic community take center stage."
For Jep and Jessica, the move represents both a literal and spiritual next step. "We chose to partner with Great American Media because their values so closely mirror our own," the couple shared when the series was first greenlit. "Faith and family are central to our lives, and we are excited to share this new chapter with viewers."
The ranch offers plenty of new territory to explore on screen, from hiking trails and fishing ponds to a pickleball court built out of a converted tractor barn - along with some Texas wildlife the Robertsons weren't dealing with back in the bayou. "Oh, there's lots of rattlesnakes out here," Jessica said of their new home.
The series marks Great American Media's first original unscripted lifestyle show and continues the Robertson family's long run in front of the camera, from the original "Duck Dynasty" to spinoffs following Jep and Jessica's adoption journey. For a family whose story has always leaned on faith through every season of change, "Beyond the Bayou" looks to be another chapter built on the same foundation.
