Fans of the Halo game were treated with a trailer of the highly anticipated beta version of 'Halo 5: Guardians' as well as the newly publicized Halo Channel during Microsoft's conference in this year's Gamecom. Several issues about Halo were discussed including the statement about the most recent Halo-concentrated media app and also the release date of the beta version of the 'Halo 5: Guardians'.

'The Halo Channel representatives of Microsoft who were present during the Cologne, Germany-based expo and illustrated it as an "interactive digital network that provides unprecedented, personalized access to the Halo Universe." In a trailer released by the company, a dashboard-like interface was shown, and includes the latest footages of "Halo: Nightfall" and "Halo 2: Anniversary." There are also footages which were released that feature behind-the-scene outtakes and community features which can be entirely assessed from the channel.

According to a description that was posted in YouTube, "The Halo Channel enables you to seamlessly transition between Halo games and other Halo experiences. Featuring full Twitch integration, broadcast your gameplay or watch feeds from the Halo community-from competitive multiplayer matches and campaign walkthroughs to speed runs. This is your home for Halo." It is expected that the Halo Channel will be launched on Xbox One and on PC at a later date. It was also announced during the Microsoft's Gamecom conference that the Halo 5 Beta version will be launched on 29th December this year and it will continuously run until 18th January 2015.

The beta gameplay will concentrate on 4v4 arena battles which are scattered over seven different maps, and it is also reported that the gameplay will run at around 60 frames per second. It should be noted that it is only those who purchase "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" will have access to the beta which will be available on 11th November. A lot has been said about the game.
