Resident Evil 6 Movie Latest News and Update: Release Date in 2016, with Familiar Faces and Shocking Twists; Is This the Last in the Franchise?
Resident Evil 6, the latest upcoming movie of the million-dollar selling franchise 'Resident Evil', will not be released until 2016, disappointing fans who have anticipated an initial September 2014 release. Throughout the earlier months and the previous years, there had been many speculations and rumors as to who will be directing the movie. Paul W.S. Anderson, its director, has been rumored to have just delegated the job to someone else just like he did on its previous movies such as Resident Evil: Apocalypse and Resident Evil: Extinction.
The sixth movie might just be the last of the whole franchise as its title is pegged at Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. The studio had started shooting the film last fall, hoping to create yet another masterpiece. Still, with the declining office profits of the franchise, people and fans are still doubtful whether Resident Evil 6 will have a massive turnout and change of hand.
