Nexus 6 Release Date: Official Confirmation Remain Obscure, Rumors Guide On Prices, Specifications and Features

The Nexus 6 Release Date is much talked about recently. Many say it will be discontinued while others claim it will be launched this year. All sorts of rumors and guesswork is been done on the grounds with nothing concrete to prove the reality.  But, there is no official news about whether it will be really released or not. Predictions are that it would be released late in 2014. The only news we got from the Google's senior vice president, Sundar Pichai, that it will not be released in the first half of July. So, we can expect a launch in the fourth quarter possibly. Nexus 5 was made available in November 2013, so we can guess the Nexus 6 may arrive at the same time this year. All sorts of rumors and guesswork is been done on the grounds with nothing concrete to prove the reality.

The rumors include that the Nexus series will be discontinued replaced by new Android Silver series. There is a possibiltiy that this version would arrive in February 2015. It is assumed that the Nexus 6 would run a latest version of Google's operating system termed as Android L. This technology was officially announced at Google I/O this year. The new software will also be accompanied with a new hardware too, experts believe.

The new Nexus 6 is believed to have 5.5-inches screen that may be manufactured by LG or Motorola. The device is also expected to have 2.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor and 3GB RAM. It may have 13MP main camera and 2.1MP front camera. It may also feature a fingerprint scanner made using latest biometric technology.
