Ted 2 Release Date, Spoilers, Latest News: Amanda Seyfried Rumored to Play Ted's Love Interest
Ted 2 latest news: the foul-mouthed, bad-ass teddy bear will be back in theaters for another adventure come June 26, 2015.
Ted 2 spoilers leaked online reveal that Ted will have a new love interest: Amanda Seyfried of "Mama Mia" and "Les Miserables" fame. The leading lady role was previously played by Mila Kunis, who's now pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Ashton Kutcher.
In an interview, Seyfried has said that "Ted 2" writer Seth MacFarlane has created songs for her to sing in the movie.
"He's (MacFarlane) an amazing singer, I'm not as good, but he thinks I am so he wrote me a song to sing in 'Ted 2', which is gonna be interesting."
Incidentally, MacFarlane is also the producer, director and the voice of Ted in this sequel. MacFarlane rose to fame as one of the creators of the hit TV series "Family Guy."
In "Ted 2,"Mark Wahlberg reprises his role as John Bennet, Ted's best buddy.
Wahlberg is all praises for MacFarlane's creativity: "The great thing about it, is Seth's ideas for the second (movie) are sick. He comes from the world of episodic television so he knows how to tell the stories, man, in a way that most people don't."
Released in 2012, the original "Ted" tells the story of a lonely boy who, one Christmas, wished for his new teddy bear to come alive. Earning over $500 million worldwide, "Ted" was the top-grossing R-rated film in the 2012 US box office and the top-grossing R-rated comedy of all time.
