Jackie Chan Son, Jaycee Chan Latest News: Jaycee Busted and Jackie felt "Ashamed" Over Son's Arrest
Last Thursday, actor Jaycee Chan was detained by Beijing Police where they found 100 grams of marijuana at his home. He and actor Kai Ko were also tested positive for marijuana.
According to Beijing Police "Mr Chan was put under criminal detention for the suspected crime of providing a shelter for others to abuse drugs"
If convicted, he faces a maximum prison term of three years.
Jackie Chan's response later on was "With regards to the incident involving my son Jaycee, I am very angry and shocked, As a public figure, I am ashamed. As a father, I am very sad and his mother is heartbroken. I told Jaycee: if you have done something wrong, you must bear the consequences. As your father, I am willing to face the road ahead with you."
On a lighter note, the Hong Kong Superstar noted that, "hoped young people would learn from Jaycee's lesson and avoid drugs"
M'Stones International, the management responsible for Jaycee, said that they will "supervise his rehabilitation and help him return to the right path".
