Amazing Spiderman 3 Release Date and Latest News: Our Friendly Neighbor Gets a Later Release Date, Studio Confirms and News About New Female Superhero Film
It seems that our friendly neighbor Spiderman won't be showing up on theatres on 2016 as originally expected. Amazing Spider-Man 3 had just been announced by Sony's Columbia to be released on an unknown date on 2018. There are reports circulating that this may be due to some rewrites on the scripts as Sony tries to revamp the whole superhero franchise. Fortunately, a female superhero will be introduced by 2017 to entertain us fans as we wait for Spidey to return.
Among the speculations as to which female superhero it will be are Black Cat, Firestar, Stunner, Silver-Sable or probably Spider-Woman. With the last one having many background stories, there are many suggestions popping out for a storyline, the most interesting one is when she was genetically altered by Doctor Octopus.
As for Black Cat, she had already been initially introduced in the 2nd installment of the Amazing Spider-Man franchise as Felicia Hardy, the hot secretary of Harry Osborn and daughter of famous cat burglar known as 'The Cat'. It will be pretty interesting to have an extended storyline for this character in a full movie.
For the case of Silver Sable, she possesses no superhero abilities but amazing skills in martial arts. Aside from the possibility of her getting her very own film adaptation, she is also rumored to supposedly play a huge part on the 2016 upcoming movie 'Sinister 6'. The Sinister Six is rumored to be one of the probable villains to show up on the Amazing Spider Man 3.
