HBO's ‘Girls' Drops First Teaser For Season 4, Hannah Biking on a Beautiful Path
With the conclusion of "Girls" third season comprising 12 episodes last March 23, 2014; fans have been eagerly awaiting for some first look to the upcoming season to land on HBO early next year. And that call has been heard, as HBO finally drops a teaser trailer for season four.
In the really cute and breezy trailer, viewers see Hannah, played by Lena Dunham coming out of her house and taking her bike for a stroll. She calmly sees her beautiful surroundings on a sunny day, accompanied by a really nice tune in the background until she suddenly crashes. Shortly after, we come to know that it wasn't really Lena Dunham who fell but a stunt double; as production staff gets the real Lena Dunham ready for the take. And then the words flashes on your screen saying, "We're back in production."
At the end of season 3, viewers saw Hannah being accepted at a prestigious writing workshop at the University of Iowa; but what viewers didn't see is what really happened next. With the teaser just released, at least we come to know that maybe she really did go to Iowa and left New York for a different experience as she takes on her dream. But could Hannah's biking fall serve as a metaphor about 20-somethings and their endless struggles to make their path? It could be yes or no, but still the teaser shows something to watch out for the next season.
In the meantime, let's hope out favorite comedy-drama takes home the prize at the Emmy Primetime Awards, as Adam Driver is nominated for best supporting actor in a comedy series and Lena Dunham for lead actress.
Season four is out early next year with 10 episodes.
