Winds of Winter Release Date, Rumors, and Speculations about Tyrion's Death, George R.R. Martin won't let Tyrion die!
I came across this news that Tyrion-lead character of Winds of Winter by George R.R. Martin will die at the end of the story. After reading the article, I scroll-down to read comments of those who have read it. Many readers, mostly fans hate the fact that Tyrion will die. Who won't because even Martin himself like Tyrion as much as fans does?
"I love all my characters, of course, but Tyrion has always been a favorite. He is the easiest to write ... The only thing that is hard is that it takes me days and sometimes weeks to come up with the one-liners that Tyrion comes up with in, like, a minute. I wish in real life I was nearly as acerbic and funny as Tyrion," Martin revealed. He was also evasive when he was asked about Tyrion's death or will it really happens or not? "Well, I did cut off his nose, so ..." He simply stated.
He further told us, "They say that you write what you want to read and you create in television what you want to watch. I love shows that are unpredictable. I like shows to be more real. Predictable shows and books bore me." In addition, the writer said, "I want to be on the edge of my seat. So, the deaths are important and at all times necessary."
To those who are avid fans of Martin are very familiar of Martin's writings style and they believe and that death is one that cannot be avoided with Martin's novels. The rumored death of Tyrion is not yet confirmed and even the release date of Winds of Winter novel. So, we just have to wait and see what will really happen.
