Marvel's Doctor Strange rumors are now swirling about who will be casted as the main character. For a while, actors like Patrick Dempsey or Joaquin Phoenix and many others were thought to be tapped in the lead role.
Is Jack Huston The One?
The latest Marvel Doctor Strange news about who will play the lead character is Jack Huston. For those who do not know him, he played the role of Richard Harrow in the crime drama television series Boardwalk Empire.
He may not be a well known actor but to Marvel President Kevin Faige, it does not matter at all. IGN interviewed Kevin Faige if Johnny Depp has been tapped to play the role of Doctor Strange. He replied, "A movie star is not required, but that doesn't mean a movie star wouldn't be great. It just depends."
Based on Mr. Faige's statement, it seems that the role of Doctor Strange has not yet been filled up. It's anybody's guess of who will play the role.
Marvel Doctor Strange Storyline
Doctor Strange is a 1963 Marvel comic character created by Stan Lee and Artist Steve Ditko. Wikipedia describes him as Doctor Stephen Strange, "a former neurosurgeon who serves as the Sorcerer Supreme - the primary protector of Earth against magical and mystical threats."
The imdb site presented a brief Marvel Doctor Strange movie synopsis. It reads, "After his career is destroyed, a brilliant but arrogant surgeon gets a new lease on life when a sorcerer takes him under his wings and trains him to defend the world against evil."

According to same site, the movie will be release in the U.S. by July 8, 2016.
