The Walking Dead Season 5 Spoilers: Cannibals on the Show?
AMC just released the Walking Dead Season 5 preview. The video contains visual hints that seem to indicate that the citizens of Terminus have cannibalistic leanings. If that is not enough, the sound in the background seems to indicate the sharpening of blades.
Walking Dead Season 5 Rumors
The video clip sparked rumors that the citizens of Terminus are probably cannibals. A post from Lightlybuzzed theorized, "That the 'Termites' are the infamous hunters from The Walking Dead Comics, who just happens to be your average, normal, everyday cannibals."
A Stir report proposes another theory, "We got a peek at Beth being held in some sort of medical facility...Do you think it's possible that the place is related to Terminus - like maybe Terminus does the slicing and dicing for whatever's going on the hospital? What if they're looking for a cure?"
The Walking Dead Season 5 release date is in October 12 this year.
Walking Dead Season 5 update
Showrunner Scott Gimple, drop some hints during a TVLine interview. He said that Walking Dead Season 5 diverges from the comic book quite a bit. "There is an aspect to these people's live that - they're the ones that have to deal with the consequences. They're the ones that out there after a disaster, surviving, not necessarily the people - at least Rick's group - who were like 'OK we have to cure this thing.' Abraham's group [is] totally different. Now that they are coming together, we are going to see the story twist in ways that we hadn't seen before. And roles are going to become very, very different than they've been before. There's going to be a lot of shifts this season."
