Assassin's Creed Unity Release Date, Rumors and Review: Release Date for Game has been Delayed to November
The seventh installment of the Assassin's Creed franchise was originally slated to come out on October 28th this year. However, the date of release has been delayed by the developer to November 11th in the US and 13th in Europe. This delay has been attributed to desires from the developer to polish what remains of the game. The game is going to be available on Playstation 4, X Box One and PC platforms. Vincent Pontbriand, a senior producer at Ubisoft stated, "As we got close to the finish, we realized we were near the target but still needed a bit more time to hone some of the details to make sure Assassin's Creed Unity is exceptional,"
This title is going to remain with the third person perspective and open world exploration elements which were there in the previous installments. Aside from a single player mode, the game is going to also incorporate multiplayer modes where up to four players will be able to take part on the story missions as well as explore the open world. In this upcoming installment, the most of the weapons will be the same as the previous installment including the phantom blade.
In the cooperative multiplayer mode, the players will be able to go into dwelling and see some of the friends taking part in their own mission. If the player is currently in a mission, then they will appear as a ghost which gives the other player the chance to join their mission if they want. Upon joining that mission, the player that owns the mission along with the player joining, will be reset to the last checkpoint and continue from there. As for the controls, the navigation set up has been altered slightly. The new navigation "Parkour Up" and "Parkour Down" settings are going to make it easier for the player when it comes to navigating within buildings. Some of the moves will come as default but others can be purchased.
