George R. R. Martin's revisit to the epic fantasy series 'A Song of Fire and Ice' was highly anticipated especially after such overwhelming response to the current season of the 'Game of Thrones' on television.
Thanks to the last four seasons, the sales for these fantasy series' novels have doubled over the last one year. 'The Dance with Dragon', which preceded this coming novel has been a huge success both in terms of money and critical acclaim and there is news that the author is spending more time completing the work to schedule Winds of Winter Release Date in April 2015.
Apparently, George R. R. Martin has already said that the manuscripts for last two volumes, i.e. Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring, will consist of over a thousand pages each, out of which he will be working on what needs to be there in the books.

A lot has been said about to where this story of death, life, and drama. To start with, you can expect Tyrion Lannister's death in the coming novel. As a matter of fact, Martin believes that death will always be an important part of his works especially with the unpredictability attached to it. He says that a lot of established and loved characters are going to die in Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring.
