The Big Bang Theory Season 8 Spoilers and Episode Guide: Some Interesting Relationship Issues In Store for Next Season's Premiere: Sheldon and Amy; Leonard and Penny; Bernadette and Penny!
The Big Bang Theory Season 8 will premiere on September 22, 2014, as scheduled, on CBS. It will initially be airing on Mondays because of the NFL game schedule but it will be moving back to Thursdays beginning October 30, 2014.
Some The Big Bang Theory Season 8 spoilers are already making the rounds in the Internet's entertainment beat. Among them: Penny will have a new haircut written in the show (because Kaley Sweetings-Cuoco decided to get a new hairdo over the summer); Emily, who was Raj's love interest in Season 7, will be back; Stuart will still be working with Mrs. Wolowitz but his comic book store will be rebuilt; Sheldon will be appointed to a Junior Professor post at the University. Also, the strains on Amy's and Sheldon's relationship will be building up and maybe come to a boil but, according to Mayim Bialik in an interview with Glamour, "We deal with it, but there's tension in that first episode."
The Big Bang Theory Season 8 episode guide is still not available at this point although it it has already been revealed that the first episode will be entitled "Locomotion Interruption" and it will be a one-hour long show. Production insiders say that in that premiere episode, Leonard and Amy will be making an unexpected road trip to Arizona to pick up Sheldon; Penny will be interviewing for and will be getting a cushy job as a pharmaceutical representative at Bernadette's company which will in turn lead to some relationship problem with Leonard; and Howard will be weirded out by Stuart's relationship with his mother.
