Duck Dynasty Season 7: Already Filming New Episodes and More of Alan

Fans of the reality series portraying the lives of the Robertson family and their family business Duck Commander should be happy right now, because the show is moving on to its seventh season. While this could be good news to some, it could also be bad news for the show's perennial critics.

The confirmation came from Alan Robertson himself, the family's eldest son through Twitter that the show is set for another full year. He also teased that viewers will be seeing more of him this time.

In a separate report, A&E mentioned that they are intending to keep the Robertson family on the reality series. If indeed true, the Robertson family could still be up for the show even longer than a year.

Despite the show's dismal last few episodes, declining ratings, and surrounding controversy that caused worry to fans that it could be heading to the cancel zone, but turns out that A&E is still positive about the show. Reports are stating that producers of the show will spice things up this coming season seven. With this, viewers can expect some really good stories about the Robertson's adventures.

Reports are also claiming that filming has already begun for the next season and even overseas filming, with some inside information from John Godwin - a Duck Commander staff.

The show's best episode is with the special "Till Duck Do Us Part" that premiered with almost 12 million viewers. And while it faltered after the special, the show remains to record an average 4.3 million viewers each episode for season 6.

Will it still be the most-watched reality series on cable TV when season 7 premieres?
