The Family Guy season 13 release date is set to be on September 28. With the trailer video revealed, it seems like the Family Guy season 13 episode 1 will begin with a blast right away.
One of the things that fans are looking forward to in the premier would be the crossover of Homer and his family from "The Simpsons." The Family Guy season 13 trailer for that episode, which will be called "The Simpsons Guy," was shown during the San Diego Comic Con last month. In the teaser video, the Griffiths are shown as they are being introduced to the well - known family from Springfield. Everything was going well and initially they were all getting along, until all of a sudden Homer and Peter get into a disagreement and right there and then argue over which brand of beer, their favorites, taste better-Peter's Pawtucket Patriot Ale and Duff Beer, Homer's choice.
The much - anticipated crossover episode will be airing in the U.S. on September 28th as the hour - long "Family Guy" season 13 premiere. It has also been revealed that many of the Family Guy season 13 episodes shall feature a variety of celebrity guest stars to drop by, including Joe Buck, Allison Janney, Jeff Garlin, Lea Thompson, Julie Bowen and Liam Neeson.
Inspired by the success that "The Simpsons" film gained, a Family Guy movie is also reportedly making the talks around the show's creators. However, the project is temporarily set aside for now in consideration to Seth McFarlane's schedule (who voices four of the main show's characters).
