Two and a Half Men Season 12 Episode 1 spoilers reveal a near-death experience that Walden (played by Ashton Kutcher) suddenly suffers from, which causes him to reflect on the way he has been living his life and eventually leads him into proposing to none other than his roommate Alan, Jon Cryer's character. Long - time fans and viewers would naturally find this strange especially since both men are heterosexual. One main drive that Kutcher's character Walden has for the proposed marriage is that he wants to adopt a child, and he believes it is easier to do so when he is married rather than single.
