Sleepy Hollow Season 2 will contain 18 serial episodes.

Among other Sleepy Hollow Season 2 spoilers, executive producer Mark Goffman in an interview with TV Line, revealed that Ichabod's wife Katrina, since she's no longer trapped in Purgatory, will finally get to change her outfit. He said, "I would say she doesn't cling to her wardrobe the way that Crane does. She's a much cooler dresser in a way of mixing and matching the modern era with her own." He also revealed that "there's no doubt that we will learn a lot more about Crane's mother, potentially in the second half" of the Sleepy Hollow Season 2 TV series.

Not only Crane's but also Lori, the mother of Abbie and Jenny, will be seen in Sleepy Hollow Season 2. According to Entertainment Weekly, Aunjanue Ellis has been cast to play Lori. Also confirmed to make appearances next season are Matt Barr as bounty hunter Nick Hawley, Timothy Busfield as Benjamin Franklin, Sakina Jaffrey as Sheriff Leena Reyes, and Heather Lind as Mary Wells,"the Weeping Lady."
