Chicago Fire Season 3 Episode 1 will air September 23 at its regular 10 PM Tuesday time slot on NBC. The Chicago Fire Season 3 premiere cast still includes Jesse Spencer as Matthew Casey, Taylor Kinney as Kelly Severide, Charley Barnett as Peter Mills, Monica Raymund as Gabriela Dawson, Lauren German as Leslie Shay, David Eigenberg as Christopher Herrmann, Joe Minoso as Joe Cruz, Yuri Sardarov as Brian Zvonecek, and Christian Stolte. Among other possible Chicago Fire Season 3 spoilers, fans can expect that one of the major characters in the show may not make it out of the warehouse which exploded just as the team was in the middle of a search and rescue operation. In an interview with TV Guide, Chicago Fire showrunner Matt Olmstead revealed: "Not everybody makes it out of that building, and then certainly what people deal with in terms of the loss of whomever that character is, that's definitely what we're dealing with in the first episode and beyond." Next season's first episode will open right after the accident shown in the last scene of the Chicago Fire Season 2 finale.
Some fans are eager to ask where the Chicago Fire series is filmed. Filming is done right in Chicago and "the series will continue to be filmed in the Windy City," according to the Chicago Tribune. The firehouse shown in the TV series is the city's Engine 18's quarters, located at 1360 S. Blue Island Avenue between 13th & Racine. Inside there are found the real ALS Engine 18, 2-2-1 (Deputy District Chief - 1st District), 4-5-7 (Paramedic Field Chief - EMS District 7), 6-4-16 (High-Rise Response Unit), and BLS Ambulance 84.
