NCIS Season 12 Latest News: Most Of The Cast Members Will Be Seen In The New Season
The American television drama Naval Criminal Investigation Service or commonly known as "NCIS", is expected to premiere their twelfth season this coming September 23 at 8 p.m. EST. Most of the cast members will still be seen in the new season of the said television drama and there will be some additions along the way.
Anthony DiNozzo's new partner Leia Pendergrast, who will be portrayed by Stephanie Jacobsen, is one of the new cast. However, the character is set to make an appearance until an episode is aired on October. The new character is an FBI special agent who will be partnered and most likely become the love interest of DiNozzo played by Michael Weatherly.
According to NCIS boss Gary Glasberg, the character of Toni will continue to grow a little bit as he went through a lot last year emotionally when trying to deal with Ziva's departure. He said there would be new and mature characters and the actors are already excited about the new season.
Audience should watch out for the premiere episode of NCIS Season 12 as the team will be doing the best they can to find Gibbs and Mcgee, who are on a mission in Russia. Some photos of the season premiere episode have been released recently and based on the photos, it is more likely that Agent DiNozzo will be the one leading the search and rescue operation to find the missing members. In addition, fans can expect that the new season will have a few crossovers in the NCIS universe.
