NBA 2K15: Tim Duncan Becomes Highest Rated San Antonio Spurs In Upcoming 2K Sports Video Game
When 2K Sports finally releases NBA 2K15 this October 7, San Antonio Spurs fans already expect that 38-year-old Spurs legend Tim Duncan will be there among the top four NBA players with ratings of 90 and above. A screenshot from an undisclosed source that was leaked on the Internet shows Duncan rated 90. The names of the other players which appeared on the screen are: Tony Parker (88), Kawhi Leonard (85), Manu Ginobili (83), Danny Green (78), Boris Diaw (78), Tiago Splitter (77), Patty Mills (77), Marco Belinelli (75), Cory Joseph (73), Matt Bonner (73), Jeff Ayres (67), and Austin Daye (67).
Last year, Duncan was rated at 87 making the oldest player since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to earn first-team All-NBA honors. Even at his age, "Duncan is and most likely always will be the greatest player in Spurs history, and it's nice to see 2K hasn't forgotten this team would go nowhere without him," says John Lugo in NBA fan site Pounding The Rock.
Aside from the Spurs' Duncan, the three other NBA players who will be in the top four slots are the Clippers' Chris Paul with a rating of 92, the Thunder's Kevin Durant with a rating of 95 and the Heat's LeBron James with a rating of 97, according to a projection by Dime Store. Kevin Durant who is the reigning NBA MVP is the cover boy for the upcoming NBA 2K15 video game.
NBA 2K15 is a basketball simulation video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. It will be released for the Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 platforms.
