Techland's New Dying Light Game 2015: Plot, Game Play & Release Date
Techland is about to release their new game Dying Light on January 27, 2015.
The upcoming video game will be an action survival horror game presented in first-person, and players must creatively use everything that's around them to survive a zombie apocalypse until the morning's first light. The players will enter an open, expansive world, resembling South American slums and cities, and they have to scavenge their surroundings for supplies as they also make their own weapons to defend themselves against zombies.
At night, the world undergoes a deadly transformation, and players have to hide themselves from the zombies, as these vicious predators become actively aggressive and dangerous after sundown. Players, most of all, must watch out for the dangerous creatures that come out only at night time.
As for the game play, Dying Light allows players to navigate the world freely, leaping between buildings, grappling up walls or pouncing on enemies. There will be a variety of enemy classes, and a variety of light and heavy weapons such as knives, bats, axes, sledgehammers or guns. The game's crafting system allows players to craft weapons, as they can use a weapon they find as is or transform it into a more potent one. The video game comes with four different characters that can be fully customized and upgraded to match your style.
The upcoming horror survival game is the first game to be powered by Chrome Engine 6, producing better graphics, visuals and gameplay, designed especially for new console generation, DirectX 11 and other advanced solutions.
Dying Light video game will be available for multiple platforms, including Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, and will be released on January 27, 2015
