Canon 7D Mark II News, Reveals, Review and Specs: New Specs Revealed as Photokina Event Next Week Draws Near

It has been five years since Canon the company released the heavily appreciated 7D camera mode and it continues t be among the best choices for the professional minded photographers and videographers as well. It seems that time is money for the camera as an image of a purported 7D Mark II has emerged from Japan alongside a set of specs for the device. However, the big scoop on the device is eagerly being awaited from the photokina event, which is supposed to kick off sometime next week.

From the images that we have at the present, it seems like the body of the new camera is going to look very similar to the version that came before. There is no surprise here. Apparently, the camera is going to feature a dust proof magnesium alloy construct, which will be from the outside. There will also be a 20.2 megapixel CMOS sensor on the inside of the device with an alleged ISO of about 16,000. Apparently, we will also see a dual-pixel CMOS autofocus system. The camera will be capable of continuous shooting at 10fps, and there will be a new RGB and IR 150,000 pixel-metering sensor. Other specs like built in GPS and Wi-Fi comes as part of the package.

It seems that the canon 7D Mark II will come free of gimmicks and this is what the fans need now. Dual DIGIC6 image processors will come as part of the package to power the camera with continuous shooting speed of 10 Fps as mentioned earlier. There will also be Full HD 60p video recording. This year's version of the Photokina event will probably exhibit much richer and higher quality mirror less cameras than ever before. It seems part of Canon's more pressing concerns at this time is to figure out a proper response to the new excellent compact shooters that are coming out of Fujifilm and Sony.
