If you've been hiding under a rock, Halo 5 Guardians is a 242 Industries-developed first shooter game set in the Halo universe and was officially announced on May 16 by its general manager, Bonnie Ross. The official Halo 5 trailer was then unveiled at E3. It is also a direct successor to Halo 4 making it the sixth title in the Halo franchise.
Halo 5 Guardians promises more than just great first-shooter gameplay - it also comes with a whole new storyline and a great cast of main characters. Currently, Halo 5 is exclusive to Xbox One and there has yet to be any confirmation for a Halo 5 PC release or a Halo 5 Xbox 360 release.
