I Know What You Did Last Summer Release Date: Is it True that I Know What You Did Last Summer Movie is Coming Back on Big Screen?
It's been seventeen long years since Ryan Phillippe, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Freddie Prinze Jr. took on the leading roles for the iconic horror and suspense movie, "I Know What You Did Last Summer." According to Deadline.com, Sony Pictures making sure that the remake of the film materialize as soon as possible. The producers however, are sure that the movie will be in theaters by 2016.
The writer of the film is Mike Flanagan. He is the same person who directed and wrote Oculus. This movie is for those who got the chance to watch what was a mind-bending horror film released last 2014. The lead star was Karen Gillan from the movie Guardians of the Galaxy. The gross income of the said movie was $40 million from $12 million as its budget. In addition to this, Flanagan is producing the Oculus movie together with Jeff Howard as his co-writer and Neal Moritz, the original producer of the "I Know What You Did Last Summer"film.
Despite these new announcements, the director of the said movie is yet to be confirmed. However, there are rumors that the director would be someone that is enterprising and new. There are also those who claim that the director will be someone who charges small amount but can do a good movie. Some speculates that this probably meant it would Flanagan and Co. but for no confirmation about it yet.
