Magic Mike XXL Movie Release Date, Reveals,  Reviews, News  and Plot: Matt Bommer and Joe Maganiello to Join Cast

In 2012 Channing Tatum came to our screens with the x-rated movie Magic Mike about a man who is just trying to make ends meet by any means necessary from being a maintenance man to a stripper. Magic Mike is considered magic because of his amazing dance moves and in all his stripper awesomeness he takes a younger boy under his wing that he teaches to be just as awesome. Like all good comedies it was simply begging for a sequel and in 2012 Mr. Tatum confirmed on twitter that a second movie would be coming out. Enter Magic Mike XXL. The movie is set to be released on July 3rd of 2015.

In this installment the boys from Xquisite take a road trip from Tampa to Myrtle Beach for a convention. From the plot it is clear that the bulk of the story will be taking place in transit. What can happen to a bunch of male stripper's on a road trip for now is left to the imagination of the fan but we can almost be sure that there will be some form of nudity and someone will find a good girl in an unlikely place. At this year's Toronto Film Festival Mr. Tatum alluded to the fact that the movie shall be making cinema history. Channing who is acting, producing and writing the movie also said that just as the first one had a Saturday Night fever feel to it Magic Mike XXL shall have a The Last Detail flavor to it. The Last Detail is a 1973 movie that starred Jack Nicholson about a couple of servicemen who show a younger recruit a good time on his way to jail. This information leaves us all with more questions than answers but Thankfully July 2015 is not that far away.

Joining Channing Tatum are Matt Bommer whom we know from White Collar and Joe Maganiello whom we remember from 'What to Expect When You're Expecting'. Iron Horse Entertainment is the production Company while Warner Bros. are in charge of distribution.
