Serena Movie Update: Official Trailer Released, New Poster shows Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence as Mr. & Mrs. Pemberton
Fans have already seen the two popular faces in movies "Silver Linings Playbook" and "American Hustle". Now, Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence are about to have their third movie collaboration in their upcoming new movie Serena, and it's about to hit the big screens as the release date is officially set for October 24 in the UK. The movie might just get another Oscar nomination.
A new poster promoting the movie is out, and unlike the previous posters, the new one shows the dynamic duo posing together as love-struck newlyweds: George and Serena Pemberton.
The upcoming drama movie is based on Ron Rash's novel "Serena" in 2008, and is about a couple who runs a timber business in North Carolina around the 1930s. Set in the era of Depression, the film features the couple struggling to keep their timber business together. Life for the two gets complicated when Serena discovers that George has a secret child, while George finds out that his wife is unable to conceive children.
The movie cast includes Sam Reid (as Vaughn), Rhys Ifans (as Galloway), Toby Jones (as Sheriff McDowell) and Sean Harris (as Campbell)
