'Thor 3' Updates: Is it Coming at All?
Thor fanatics might wait longer than expected until they can watch the franchise's third and last installment. It has been recently reported that Thor 3's film production has not even started yet. It was also announced that Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost are writing the screenplay.
Fans and audiences assumed that the movie's release will be in 2016. However, there are rumours that movie goers will have to wait till 2017.
In the recent Comic-Con 2014 held in San Diego, Marvel Studios has been teased about their upcoming film. However, they have no exact details as to the dates of production and movie release.
Marvel seems to focus on the teasers and previews of Ant-Man and Avengers 2. It even confirmed that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will be released on 2017.Hence, Thor fans are left in doubt if they will ever get to see a sequel of their fave franchise.
Meanwhile, in an interview, actor Chris Hemsworth said he was hoping to have another Thor movie. However, he revealed that there is nothing official yet though he is looking forward to it. He added that, at least, there is a lot of time for him to focus on other things other than his recurring role as a half-god superhero.
According to other sources, the movie studio is said to have even given Hemsworth the chance to exit the film series. This news makes sense when Marvel revealed its next film will feature a female lead.
