iPod Touch 6G Rumors: Is it Worth Waiting For?
Tech giant Apple has already released its newest products, but it seems that they have other products under their belt.
After the successful launch of the iPhone 6 and the Apple Watch, consumers are anticipating that the rumors regarding the launch of the iPod Touch 6G are true. Nothing has been confirmed though, so we'll have to wait until Apple announces that they have another line-up. Speculated to be released in October, it is expected that the iPod Touch 6G would be a major haul in the line.
Although the fifth generation was loved by many, it wasn't received as well as its previous versions. Many commented that it did not have as much changes as that of previous ones, except for its slim design. However, the range of colors was well-received.
Rumors regarding the release of the 6th generation have been mixed with rumors about the release of the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 3, and it has been reported that these products would be launched in the upcoming iPad event of Apple - reportedly, this October.
Expectedly, the iPod Touch 6 would incorporate iOS8, which has just been released. It is also rumored to include the Touch ID, a fingerprint recognition system that Apple has incorporated on their devices.
It is also said that it will have the elements from some of Apple's existing products, with its design complimenting the iPhone 6. The upgrade of the iTouch line is long overdue, so the anticipation on its release date is high.
Since there is nothing but rumors regarding the release of the product, we must wait until the release is verified, as there are some who says that there would be no release, and that the Apple Watch would replace the iTouch.
