Jamie Foxx set to play Mike Tyson in an Untitled biopic film of the Legendary Boxer's Life

Mike Tyson may have been memorable in some comedic chick flicks for the younger generation but the older generation knew him as a one-of-a-kind boxing legend and since he's a legend, obviously, one can expect a Mike Tyson biopic, in other words, a Mike Tyson movie to pop out anytime.

Well, you're not too far off.

Though it is still an Untitled Mike Tyson biopic, it is already confirmed that Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx is set to play Mike Tyson in the upcoming film of the boxer's life. Foxx is not a stranger to biopics as he previously portrayed Ray Charles in the biographical film entitled Ray which won him the Best Actor Award in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and BAFTA, and played Bundini Brown, Muhammad Ali's corner man, and quarterback Willie Beaman.

The Mike Tyson film will be produced by Foxx's own manager, Rick Yorn, while its screenplay will be written by Terence Winter, who's known for his work in the 2013 film Wolf of Wolf Street.

Aside from the upcoming Mike Tyson biopic, the former boxer has his own life published in a book entitled, 'The Undisputed Truth'. Interestingly, the autobiography made it to the New York Times Bestseller List.
