Grey's Anatomy' Season 11: Another Medical Drama at the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital in Seattle
Long running medical drama Grey Anatomy is set to have its 11th season premiere aired on September 25, 8PM EST. For years, the medical drama has been raking in viewers, and it would not be a surprise if they get the same amount of attention for this season.
The season will still feature surgical interns and residents as they experience the difficulties of being in their chosen profession at the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital in Seattle.
Unlike the past seasons, the 11th season will focus on Meredith as she loses herself as time goes by - a half-sister shows up, her husband goes away, and all other problems would come her way. Viewers should stay tune to the new season to know how she will handle all these new problems.
It will focus on the relationship between the half-sisters, after it was revealed that they are siblings. The season will revolve around a family-theme, something that has to be done, according to Shonda Rhimes, the show's writer.
Original main cast Sandra Oh announced last year that she will be leaving the show after season 10, a major change as she has been part of Grey's Anatomy from season 1 up until the last. Gauis Charles and Tessa Ferrer also opted out of the show, while the other casts chose to renew their contracts.
Season 11 officially starts next week, and viewers are more than happy to finally have their dosage of the show once more. With nine years under its belt, Grey's Anatomy never failed to please its fans, as the producers and the cast make sure that everything goes accordingly, and that the production would be a success. There is no reason to suspect any less on this season.
Catch the new season on ABC every Thursday starting September 25, 8PM EST.
