BlackBerry Passport: T-Mobile Soon to Release BlackBerry Passport, Specs and Features of the New BlackBerry Phablet
BlackBerry Passport is soon having its product launch this September 24 in London, Toronto and Dubai, and T-Mobile customers will be able to buy the new Passport on the release date.
Despite the earlier disputes between the BlackBerry and T-Mobile, it is recently reported that T-Mobile is ready to sell the new Passport to its customers on the release date in September. Leaked images of the new gadget show a T-Mobile logo on the phablet.
As for the Passport itself, its compact keyboard is paired with a square 4.5 x 4.5 inch HD display and a 1440 x 1440 pixel resolution. The display size may be nothing compared to other Androids out there, but this little monster is capable of showing more stuff because of its ultra-wide display; Passport's display size and aspect ratio is specifically made ideal for viewing e-books, documents and websites without having to worry about portrait/landscape modes.
The keyboard is touch-enabled and the battery life lasts more than a full day. Initial tests have proved that the gadget lasts for more than 15 hours from a single charge. It also comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974 quad-core chip, Adreno 330 GPU and a 3GB RAM. It is also lighter than the BlackBerry Z30, has a non-removable 3,450Ah battery pack and a microSD slot. It has a 13 megapixel back camera with an LED flash, and a 2 megapixel front camera. It is also said to have a better built-in support for Android apps.
What's more, this BlackBerry finally comes with a virtual assistant: the BlackBerry Assistant. Among other features, what makes this virtual buddy different from the rest is that it has full control over the phone's settings and apps; ask it to do something, and it does. It's that simple.
BlackBerry Passport product launch is on September 24 in London, Toronto and Dubai.
