Family Guy Season 13 news: The Griffins look up to a "Welcome to Springfield" sign in the Family Guy Season 13 trailer - they and The Simpsons will star in a one-hour crossover episode on September 28 on Fox.
Both Peter Griffin and Homer Simpson had something to say about the team-up.
"Fox hasn't spent this much money since they took Simon Cowell tight T-shirt shopping," said Peter.
"Finally I can get my hands on this guy!" added Homer.
For the very first time, the Griffins will share the spotlight with Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie as the latter find themselves in Springfield.
Memorable clips from The Simpsons Guy trailer include: Homer and Peter's doughnut bonding; Bart and Stewie plotting a prank call to Moe's Tavern; Bob from "Bob's Burgers" making a cameo; Stewie and Bart skateboarding; and Homer and Peter fighting all over Springfield.
It has also been announced that a character from "The Simpsons" will be killed off from the show; who it will be remains a mystery as both teams have kept their lips sealed about it. It's everyone's guess at this point.
Celebrities set to appear on Family Guy Season 13 are Jeff Garlin, Lea Thompson, Allison Janney, Joe Buck, Julie Bowen, and Liam Neeson.
Family Guy the movie is also in the pipeline, but the project has been temporarily put on hold depending on Seth MacFarlane's schedule.
