Gabrielle Union Is Making Her Move Against Those Who Leaked Her Nude Photos Online
Gabrielle Union is one of the latest victims of the hacking ring that targets celebrities. The actress already confirmed that it was her. The nude photos were released on several sites such as 4chan and Reddit. Both companies have then taken the photos down, since both are taking a strong stand against hacking and invasion of privacy. Even though the photos were immediately taken down, those who managed to download it are posting it on other sites, and it's spreading like wildfire. The photos were trending over the weekend.
This is the second time that this kind of incident happened. The first attack includes Jennifer Lawrence, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting and other celebrities. It was originally thought that the hackers managed to access Apple's iCloud storage system. Further investigation revealed that attacks were an isolated event, and it specifically targeted celebrities.
Gabrielle Union said in a statement through TMZ that the photos "were shared and deleted solely between my husband and myself, have been leaked by some vultures." Other victims included model Emily Ratajkowski and Jenny McCarthy as well as Kate Bosworth and Lake Bell.
The actress together with her husband Dwayne Wade is going to work together with the FBI to help track the perpetrator and hopefully bring the case to rest. The newlywed couple added, "For anyone out there also being affected by these and other hacking and hate crimes - We send our love, support and prayers. We have done nothing wrong."
Celebrities are so used to seeing fake nude photos online but Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting was shocked to find out that those were her real photos. Gabrielle Union reacted in such a way that she wanted to be part of the solution, while Cuoco-Sweeting decided to poke fun at herself my posting her own "blurred" nude photos of her and her husband.
