Mike Tyson Helps Motorcycle Accident Victim at a Las Vegas Interstate Highway

Retired heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson played Good Samaritan to a badly injured motorcycle accident victim Tuesday according to TMZ.

In a follow through report from the Associated Press, it was learned from Attorney Stephen Stubbs that his client, 29-year-old accident victim Ryan Chesley, was riding his motorcycle on-ramp on Interstate-15 North off Flamingo Road in Las Vegas at about 9:30 PM Tuesday when he was cut off by a taxi, causing him to lose control of his vehicle and to fall off. Apparently,Mike Tyson saw the whole thing as he immediately pulled his car over to help.

The lawyer said Chesley who was sent flying off his bike incurred several injuries from the crash, including a paralyzed big toe, broken ankle and torn muscles and ligaments which will be needing surgery.

Chelsey could have suffered more had he not been rescued by Mike Tyson. According to his lawyer, Chesley was lying on the ground when he looked up and recognized Tyson, who was yelling at people not to touch him. "He thought he was hallucinating," Stubbs said. "He thought he was in some other world." Also, despite his injuries, Chelsey had the presence of mind to snap a cellphone picture of the heavyweight boxer with his remaining good right hand. Tyson, with three friends, blocked off traffic, and waited with Chesley until paramedics arrived. Tyson himself kept the crash victim calm until professional help arrived on the scene. The boxer kept telling him, "don't worry, don't worry, people are coming." As soon as paramedics arrived, Tyson "just left, like some kind of superhero...When he was done with the good deed, he just took off," revealed the lawyer.

Stubbs said they sent a fruit basket with a handwritten thank you note from his client. In the note, Chelsey said: "Dear Iron Mike, Thank you so much for looking over me after my accident. It has to be the most reassuring thing in the world to have Mike Tyson telling people not to touch me. I can never thank you enough."
