"The Voice": Season 7 Singers: Let's introduce all the singers!
Will Blake Sheldon or Adam Levine grab again another championship belt this season? Sheldon proudly hold three belts while Levine has two. Or will it go to newcomers Gwen Steffani and Pharrell Williams?
With great singers under their tutelage, we can only guess who the winner is going to be. Below are the singers for this season:
Clara Hong, Damien and Joe Kirk or simply Team Adam!
South Korean Clara Hong decided to put college on hold to pursue her music career. Did she make the right decision? To get her vote, Levine sweetened the deal by composing a poem just for her. Good work Adam!
Damien used a life tragedy to get the emotion he needed when he sang the song "It's so Hard to say Goodbye to Yesterday." Damien lost a friend in a domestic terrorist attack in Los Angeles airport last year. His voice captured the attention of all the judges but Damien opted to work with Levine.
Music is the passion of the whole family of Joe Kirk. Having two older brothers perform in their hometown Nashville made John Kirk pursue also a music career. With the help of Adam Levine, Kirk might just out-stage his brothers in the future.
Team Blake is composed of Taylor Brashears, Allison Bray and James Carter.
The band Nickel Creek made her do it! Inspired by the band, Taylor Brashears decided to take the next step. Joining the Voice was best decision she made so far. Showing her singing skills plus her talent in playing the violin and ukulele will definitely inspire Blake Sheldon to mold her into a star.
Try and try until they turn around. That might be the motto of Allison Bray. Bray in not new in the program. She was part of season six, but unfortunately no judge gave her the chance. So Bray polished her voice more and tried the second time. It's worth it! She opted to have Blake Sheldon as her mentor.
When a door closes, a window opens. And that is the life of James David Carter. A serious football injury changed his career path. He knew he can share something else - his music. Carter is a fulltime musician for 12 years now.
Watch out for Team Pharrell members -Taylor Phelan, Elyjuh Rene and Maiya Skyes.
Taylor Phelan wants to renew his music career and Team Pharrell must just make his wish come true. Phelan had to make a decision - his career or help raise his daughter. He chose his daughter. But now that all things are settled, he wants his time under the limelight!
Pharrell knew just what to say to Elyjuh Rene. Even Blake Sheldon was captured by the simple "Barbara Walters" encouragement given by Williams. Meanwhile, Elyjuh Rene isn't shy to be called a "Momma's boy". In fact, joining the program was his special gift to his mom.
Beauty, brains and voice - that's how we can describe California girl Maiya Sykes .She attended Yale and took three courses- political science, African American studies and music composition. After graduation, she became a back-up singer but now it's her turn to be on the spotlight.
Soul music was well delivered by Luke Wade of Fort Worth Texas. After losing an eye due to a paintball accident, Wade found his music! Singing and composing songs is his calling. Watch The Voice show is talent.
And last but not the least -Team Gwen!
Menlik Zergabachew is a future reggae singer from Ethiopia. The Zergabachev family immigrated to America to have a better life. Menlik pursued his passion for music with the support of his family.
With Gwen Steffani as a teacher, Taylor John Williams career will surely shine. Taylor is a bartender and a street performer from Portland. He plans to level up his singing career and joining The Voice Season 7 is the right way to do it.
Bryana Salaz, the first person to get a "Team Gwen" shirt will also try her luck under Steffani. Salaz is from San Antonio Texas but because she is part of a military family, Salaz had to travel a lot.
Having a father that is also a singer is a big plus for Sugar Joans. She wants her big break too and being part of The Voice season 7 is the right path.
And finally, to spice up the new Season we will see great mentors! Steve Nicks for Team Levine; Big Town for Team Blake; Alicia Keyes for Team Pharrell; and Gavin Rossdale for Team Gwen.
The Voice Season 7 is going to be another remarkable season for sure. Tune in!
