Based on the promotional posters, fans may also witness the romance of Stefan and Elena. The posters showed them holding hands. The Vampire Diaries" season 5 was enriched with the rekindling of the romance between Stefan and Elena, even if there were conflicts and misunderstandings. In the new season, fans can expect a harmonious love of the pair as the poster implies.  On the other hand, Stefan and Caroline did share a steamy kiss on the last season.
