Two Night Stand Movie 2014: Movie Plot, Cast, Release Date and Review

A new romantic comedy is coming soon to the big screens, as Two Night Stand premieres this September 26. The movie is directed by Max Nichols and written by Mark Hammer.

The story of the upcoming movie revolves around two strangers who, after waking up from a misguided one night stand, find themselves trapped in a Brooklyn apartment together. Apparently, that one night had put all New York on ice. After a snowstorm trapping the two together, the two have no choice but to spend time with each other, and to get to know each other.

As for the recent reviews, the movie receives a fairly neutral remark; effective actors, an okay story, with a hint of humor and an insightful message. One review comments on the two stars playing the main two couple, "the two stars always brighten the proceedings...This movie doesn't require such heavy lifting from [Teller], but he's consistently engaging and even soulful," and regarding a certain line that Alec said to Megan, the source says, "That's a simple line, but I can't imagine another actor of any age delivering that declaration with the originality and feeling that Teller supplies". As for Analeigh Tipton, who plays the role of Megan, "Tipton makes an equally strong impression. She exudes an appealing vulnerability and matches up well with Teller".

Yet, the review concludes, "Despite their best efforts..., this film emerges as a likeable but forgettable trifle".

As for the movie cast, Miles Teller plays Alec, the cute and funny guy, trapped in the apartment with a girl named Megan. Megan is played by Analeigh Tipton. Jessica Szohr takes the role of Faiza, Megan's roommate. Scott Mescudi plays Cedric, Faiza's boyfriend.

Based on the reviews, the movie is generally a good one, best for a Friday night with a bag of popcorn.
