Hawaii Five-0 New Season 5: Spoilers, Cast, Episodes, and Other News
Hawaii Five-0 is renewed for a season 5, and will premiere today, September 26, 2014. The new season will have a total of 25 episodes. Its first episode "Nowhere to Hide" is directed by Bryan Spicer and written by Peter M. Lenkov and Ken Solarz. It will also be the 100th episode for the crime drama series.

Your favorite stars will be back in the new season, including Alex O'Loughlin and Scott Caan. Alex plays the role of lieutenant commander Steve McGarrett, while Scott plays the role of detective sergeant Danno Williams. For the new season, Jorge Garcia was promoted to series regular.
It is also reported that the new season will reveal more about Officer Kono Kalakaua (Grace Park) in one of the season 5 episodes. It will include Kono's backstory. Writer Peter M. Lenkov shared a few details on the said episode in an Entertainment Weekly interview, "We're doing a big Kono-centric episode that's going to feature her connection with her mother, her love and affection for the ocean and where she learned to surf".
Also, even before the official airing of the first episode, the details regarding the second episode has already been revealed. Entitled "Family Man", the second episode is described as, "Five-0 investigates when the young daughter of a Navy Seal currently on a top-secret mission is kidnapped. Meanwhile, with his brother's life on the line, Danny must locate the $18.5 million he owes his captors". The second episode airs October 3.
