"Once Upon a Time" Season 4 Premiere Date, Spoilers: Disney Movie "Frozen" to be meshed with the plot!
'Once Upon A Time', a fairytale TV drama, returns for another season. And what better way to start a new season but by intertwining the series with a Disney movie. It's fairytale on TV right, so what Disney movie? You got it! Frozen!
So now it's a Frozen show? In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, Executive Producers Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis reassures the Once fans that they don't have any intention of sidelining the stories of Emma, Rumple, Hook and other characters for the plot of Frozen.
According to Horowitz, "What we're trying to do is not make the show just the Frozen show. We want to tell this Frozen story, but as you'll see, their story is going to relate to our core characters from Once Upon a Time." Kitsis also added "It was very important that it still [feels like it's] Once Upon a Time. It's not the Frozen sequel; it is the characters from Frozen coming to Once Upon a Time."
So the schemes and trickeries from Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) and Regina/Evil Queen (Lana Parilla) is still on. The love affair (?) between Hook (Colin O' Donoghue) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) will still bloom and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) and Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) might still get their happily ever after. The couple, by the way, will raise a baby this season. And they will call him Prince Neal.
But back to Elsa of Frozen, how in the first place will Elsa reach Storybrooke? At the end of season three, Emma and Captain Hook unintentionally left a portal open, allowing Elsa to slip into town. And that is where season four premiere episode of 'Once Upon A Time' entitled "The Tales of the Two Sister" starts.
And the biggest question of all is - Will the Once Upon A Time TV show use the popular songs of Frozen like "Let it Go" and "Do you want to Build a Snowman?" Horowitz answers "Oh, for sure! We are huge, massive fans of that movie and we can't help ourselves. There are nods to many things from that movie."
'Once Upon A Time' Season Four premieres Sept. 28.
