Dumb and Dumber To: Farrelly Movie reprises this November 2014!
Dumb and Dumber To is an American buddy comedy, which chronicles the adventures of two dumb friends named Harry and Lloyd.
The first movie was initially filmed in 1994, with the title Dumb and Dumber. The best of friends head into a cross country adventure and return a briefcase of money to its lawful owner, a beautiful woman in the person of Mary Swanson. Conversely, the two did not realize a bigger treachery embroiling Mary and the briefcase where they were tracked and chased down by criminals.
The upcoming film this year presents the duo in twenty years since their last adventure. This time, Harry and Lloyd head out in search for Larry's long lost child he never knew he had. Part of the plot is that Lloyd will fall in love again.
Dumb and Dumber To stars Two-time Golden Globe Winner Jim Carrey as Lloyd Christmas, Golden Globe Award Nominee Jeff Daniels as Harry Dunne, 1987 Best Actress in a Leading Role Academy Awards Nominee Kathleen Turner as Fraida Felcher, and 2013 Best Supporting Actress on Television Saturn Award Winner Laurie Holden as Adele Pichlow. Carey's upcoming projects which are under development are Ricky Stanicky, Ripley's Believe It or Not!, Me Time, and Sober Buddies.
Daniel's recent projects include The Newsroom, Quad, and Looper. Turner is included in the upcoming, Overture. More to that, Holden is part of the TV series, Major Crimes.
The comedy film is directed and co-written by Bobby and Peter Farrelly. Bennett Yellin, Mike Cerrone, John Morris, and Sean Anders also contributed as writers.
