FIFA Video Game News: Hundreds of Avid Gamers Flocked to Game Stores on Midnight Release!
The midnight release of the highly anticipated video game FIFA 15 was tremendously received last Thursday, September 25. Hundreds of avid gamers were pretty excited with the release and launch and flocked to Game Stores all around UK.
The latest instalment of the EA Sports video game went on sale featuring improvements such as players showing emotion based on the context of the match, new animations and more realistic crowds.
And no FIFA launch will be possible without the stars of the game themselves. Premier League and Football League players visited Game stores across the UK to support the launch.
A few lucky fans grabbed the opportunity to play a one-on-one match with Tottenham Hotspur centre back Eric Dier and Hull City's David Meyler and Liam Rosenior.Dier, 20, who was at the Stratford store, said: "Everyone loves Fifa. All the lads play it, we've got it upstairs in the games room at the club and it gets quite feisty.
"On the new one they've got (crowd) songs. I played with Tottenham the other day and they're singing Tottenham songs. It's small touches like that that make it really good."
Rosenior, 29, attended the Hull store and claimed he normally gets the better of team-mate Meyler when they play the game.
"We enjoy playing Fifa ourselves," he said. "I beat Dave a few times and he beats me less. But it's a good game and we enjoy it."
