State of Affairs, NBC's new show is one of the highly-anticipated series that had many fans of the network intrigued. Playing the role of a CIA analyst in the series is the lovely Katherine Heigl who had recently earned a lot of comments from her Facebook post confusing Afghanistan with Iraq.  Geography aside, let's take a look at State of Affairs review and other news about its development.

The State of Affairs trailer which was released months ago looks promising enough that many are looking at it to become quite a hit on television. Powered by powerful cast and production team, this show is expected to attract quite a number of viewership. Still, nothing is certain until State of Affairs release date arrive.

According to State of Affairs IMDB page, included in the cast list are Alfre Woodard who will be playing the role of President Constance Payton who will keep our CIA agent on her toes. Tommy Savas (Dashiell Greer), Vera Miao (Presidential Secretary Jill Becker), Matt Bushell (Dale) will also appear on the show. Hearing all these names just makes us even more excited for State of Affairs premiere.

The series is about a CIA agent who have been removed from doing field work and was assigned to become the president's daily briefer. Sounds easy? Well, she is tasked to watch out for America's most critical threats. Will there be romance brewing? Well, nothing has been told for now.

State of Affairs air date has been reported to be this coming 17th of November 2014 on NBC.
