Fast & Furious 7 Release Date, Reveals, Rumours and News: Paul Walkers Brothers, Caleb and Cody are Announced to be used as Stand-ins
The film directed by James Wan and written by Chris Morgan is meant to be the seventh installment to the franchise. The film is first of its franchise to take place after the events of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. The film stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Lucas Black and Jayson Statham. It also is meant to mark the final appearance of the late Paul Walker who died on November 30th 2013 with the film still in production. The film is scheduled to premiere on April 3rd 2015
The film is set to take place after the last point of Fast and the Furious 6 with Owen Shawn and his crew defeated. The crew led by Dominic Toretto(Vin Diesel) and Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) are ready to return to their comfortable and peaceful lives but just when the start settling down, Owen's older brother Ian Shaw ,a role by Jason Statham, shows up. He comes seeking revenge for his now late brother and his major target, Dominic Toretto. This in turn puts the entire crew in danger although the crew on the other hand are out in search of Han's murderer as they are not willing to sit around and wait for him to get to them too.
The movie is highly anticipated despite the little turbulence, the death of Paul Walker and conflicts to whether or not Johnson would be able to appear in the movie due to his project in Hercules, they have had to deal with during their production period. Although many worry that no one will be able to replace Paul Walker, The Daily News announced on March 21st 2014 that the studio had hired four actors with similar body structures as that of Paul Walker. On April 15th 2014, his brothers Caleb and Cody were announced to be used as stand-ins for the film.
