Rise of Lyric' and 'Shattered Crystal' Release Date: Sega Changes release date to Avoid Being Overshadowed
It has previously been reported that Sonic Boom games "Rise of Lyric" and "Shattered Crystal," will be released on Nintendo on November 18. This however was changed as Sega take that same announcement back and confirmed that the two games will be available in Nintendo Wii U and 3DS on November 11. This is as excellent call as many fans of the game would truly appreciate it.
This change of release schedule is due to the fact that November 18 is also the release date of many console games. By moving their release date a week earlier, Sega is able to go out without clashing with all the other players in the industry.
On November 18, a lot of big games will be released. These includes "Dragon Age: Inquisition," "Far Cry 4," "WWE 2K15," and the premastered "GTA V". these games will be available in Xbox One and Playstation 4. With all these big names, Sega is seriously considering the possibility of getting crowded and overshadowed. While November 11 is not really without big game releases, it would be far lesser. This would give both Sonic Boom games enough room. Sega will have the benefit of more exposure before all the other big games come out. The two Sonic Boom Games will have to contend against "Assassin's Creed" and "The Crew".
Big Red Button develop "Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric" for Wii U. On the other hand, Sanzaru Games created the "Sonic Boom Shattered Crystal" for Nintendo 3DS.
Lyric is the name of the robotic snake hat Sonic and company chance upon. As for "Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal" will introduce a new character Stick, who will help Sonic and his friends on their adventure.
Sonic Boom has been a household name for gaming for a long time now. With the aid of a TV series, which will be shown in around the same time that the game will be released, Sega is hoping that the public will remember the characters. The two games are merely a fraction of Sega's plan which is to resurrect the Sonic brand and to spread it across games, TV, and even toys. Sonic Boom made a big name back in the time of the early Street Fighter era. To have it reintroduced today will truly revive the interest of a lot of fans.
