The Mentalist Season 7 News, Reveals, Premiere and Reviews: Rumored Love Triangle between Vega, Teresa and Jane

The seventh season of the mentalist is estimated to premiere sometime in January of next year as most of you already know. The procedural show ended the last season as Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon shared a passionate kiss. Apparently, the fans are quite eager to know what is in store for the next season and especially where the new relationship is headed since it has been such a long time coming. In this view, we have been giving reports of a new kid on the block. This is agent Michelle Vega who is going to cause trouble for the agents. She is an up and comer with a lot of ambition and the ability to perform under pressure. Apparently, she has weapons and tactical expertise but she is definitely not as abstract as Jane and has neither knowledge nor respect for his methods.

The rumors are saying that Vega is going to create a love triangle between Jane and Lisbon that is going to have a somewhat satisfying conclusion. However, she is new and Teresa and Patrick have been going around this for a while so we definitely know who the audience is going to hate. According to the show runner, Bruno Heller, there is going to be a sense of 'what now', from the series especially since the serial killer, Red John is gone.

According to the show runner, the seventh season of the series is all about closure about the series and the various roles therein. Even though the fans seem to be anxious to see what is going to happen in the show, CBS revealed that the show is not going to premiere in the fall. Tim Kang, as Cho on the show concurred claiming that the show is going to air in January. There has been a bit of back and forth about the episode titles, but the consensus is that they will be "Orange Blossom Ice Cream", "Nothing But Blue Skies" and "The Graybar Hotel".
