Entourage Movie Release Date, Spoilers and Other News: Producer Mark Wahlberg Wants A Sequel, Even If Film Still For Release this June
HBO's Entourage movie release date is June 12, 2015, according to Warner Bros. Since filming has already finished, the official Entourage movie trailer may be expected to be released anytime soon now. The Entourage movie wiki fan site may also need to be updated.
The Entourage movie script was co-written by director Doug Ellin with Rob Weis, who is also co-producing the film with Mark Wahlberg. The Entourage movie plot picks up six months after the TV series' finale. It will continue to follow the career of movie star Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) and his entourage - Eric Murphy (Kevin Connolly), Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven), Johnny 'Drama' Chase (Kevin Dillon), and Turtle (Jerry Ferrara). In an interview with Deadline Hollywood about the Entourage movie script, Ellin said: "There are interesting developments about Ari as a studio head, and that's still the first page for me. But foremost is the friendship between the guys who are still hanging out and going to fun parties, and it continues with the same characters."
Actress Emmanuelle Chriqui spilled a small Entourage movie spoiler. She admitted to She Knows that there will be a wedding in the film. She also shared a bit of insider Entourage movie news. She said, "During the movie, Kevin Connolly broke his leg shooting the football scene. It was one of the days we had a star football player, Russell Wilson, on the set. Kevin broke his leg and he was in a cast after that and it's still mending." In another talk with Today, Chriqui when asked about the film's release said "there's rumors it could be sooner" than the announced date.
Entourage movie cameos will have Liam Neeson, Piers Morgan, Cynthia Kirchner, Russell Wilson and Emily Ratajkowski making appearances in the film as themselves. Others in the cast include Perrey Reeves, Rex Lee, Scott Caan, Debi Mazar, Constance Zimmer, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Rhys Coiro, Nora Dunn, Billy Bob Thornton, Haley Joel Osment, Martin Landau, Bow Wow, and Kid Cudi. The Daily Mail in another spoiler revealed that UFC women's mixed martial arts champion Ronda Rousey will also have a cameo playing herself. She will have a scene where she will be shown attacking Vincent Chase and his entourage in their car.
Producer Mark Wahlberg who has already seen the finished film is clearly pleased with the results. In fact, he now wants an earlier release date and he can't wait to do the sequel. In an interview with Access Hollywood, he said: "I don't think we're going to be able to wait a year to release the movie. We're going to show the studio sooner, rather than later. If [however] it makes most sense to wait until June, we'll wait until June... [But] I told Doug [Ellin], 'Let's not wait for the movie to come out to start planning the next one because this is definitely going to be a big success. If I have anything to do with it, there will be[a sequel]."
