Brad Pitt Feels Like He's The 'Richest Man Alive' Because of His Family and 'Fatherhood'
Brad Pitt has many reasons to be happy nowadays. He just married his long-time partner Angelina Jolie. The couple have six children - Maddox , 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 6. Pitt said, "You learn to value the basic beauty of family, of watching your children grow and evolve. It's the most beautiful thing you can experience." The actor added, "I feel like the richest man alive since I've become a father."
Pitt stars in the movie Fury and he relates that being a father made him more generous and alive. Pitt said, "I see my children as an essential part of my life, and it means so much to be able to educate them and help them make their way in the world as they grow up. Pitt said that he is a protective parent and that he worries about his kids all the time - caring about them more that himself. Pitt expresses that he became more "generous and giving and wanting only the best for your family."
With these revelations of how much he loves his family, he said he is currently "slowing down" and he's venturing and exploring other things. The actor wants to spend more time with his children before all of them are grown up.
The importance of their kids in their lives resonates at their wedding. It was an intimate ceremony with family and closest friends. The bride wore a dress that's covered with their kid's art work. Each has their own role to play during the wedding and the children personally chose it. Pax baked the cake for the couple's wedding day. Angelina and Brad got what they've wanted, "a day that was relaxed and full of laughter."
The whole family is now in Malta. The couple is busy shooting a movie that will star them together - "By The Sea." It is written by Angelina and she's going to direct the film as well. This is going to be the second time that the two will act together on screen, after the hit film "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" back in 2005.
