HTC One M8 VS HTC One M8 Eye Comparison: Features, Specs, Price - A Comprehensive Comparison
HTC One M8 surely has one of the best configurations that today's smartphone can offer but the only dilemma to go for this phone, is that the user might have to sacrifice camera quality. It comes with excellent hardware specification with perfect balance between durability, performance, and style but only thing that pushes the phone at the bottom is the dual 4MP rear camera. The company explained that it incorporated an UltraPixel feature on this phone so camera quality will remail passable. However, users cannot agree. As such, HTC has decided to announce a new version of HTC One M8 named HTC One M8 Eye. M8 Eye will have similar type of hardware specification but the camera department will be boost up to dual 13MP rear facing camera.
HTC One M8 was released in March 2014 and it has managed to achieve popularity even with its low performance camera. The rear-facing camera performs poorly in low light and even lacks details when the image is cropped or zoomed in. The UltraPixel feature of the phone could not managed to sustain the lack of resolution. To eliminate this problem, M8 will be more powerful with 13MP and it will probably drop the UltraPixel feature. At October 8, the company is going to have a conference to reveal more details of HTC One M8 Eye.
The HTC One M8 Eye will be an updated version of the One M8. Therefore, both of them will probably share common hardware configuration except for the camera. HTC One M8 has Qualcomm MSM8974AB Snapdragon 801 chipset with Quad-core 2.3 GHz (US/EMEA)/ 2.5 GHz (Asia, China) CPU and the GPU is powerful Adreno 330. The RAM slot is provided with 2GB of RAM. The display size for the One M8 is 5-inch and the display type is Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen with 16M color. The display is knife-edge sharp and blessed with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution along with 441ppi pixel density. HTC One M8 runs with operating system Android OS, v4.4.2 (KitKat) and upgradable to v4.4.3 (KitKat). But HTC One M8 Eye will probably come with android v4.4.4 with HTC sense 6.
