Star Wars:Episode7 Release Date, Cast, Spoilers, Latest News: Even though the release date for Star Wars Episode VII is over a year away (December 2015), there's no shortage of leaks from the set
"Star Wars: Episode 7" is an upcoming American epic space opera film, produced by the collaboration among Walt Disney Pictures, Lucas film, and Bad Robot Production. The film will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios motion Pictures. It is intended to be the seventh installment in the "Star Wars" movie franchise.
Even though the release date for the movie is over a year away (December 2015), there's no shortage of leaks from the set. Just this past week, fans saw a slew of new photos leaked depicting very familiar spacecraft, as well as new concept art showing an epic confrontation between two lightsaber wielding figures. J.J. Abrams, the film's director, has made sure to do everything in his power to keep plot details under wraps, but he doesn't seem to have a problem with leaks like this which inform fans of the look and film of the movie to increase their interest.
The film stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridle, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis,Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyongo and Gwendoline Christie, with Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker reprising their roles from previous films
In a report by BadAssDigest, von Sydow is said to portray a "key character" who gets the story in motion. His supposed role was also described as a cyborg who's probably suffering from dementia. On the other hand, it was also leaked that the other character named Kira will be portrayed by English actress Ridley.
According to the sources, if the recent reports regarding von Sydow's role were true, then it would serve as good reference to the previous storyline that existed in the Star Wars universe prior to "Star Wars: Episode 7."
Furthermore, it could become a reliable link to the TV show "Star Wars: Clone Wars." It would also show significant development on the characters of Han, Leia and Luke.
Fans can watch the movie on December 18, 2015.
